How do I book a test with Bioscan?
Booking a test is simple! You can schedule an appointment online through our website or visit our clinic. Our friendly team is available to assist you with any queries. Walk-in services may also be available for select tests.
How long does it take to receive my test results?
Most test results are available within 24 to 72 hours, depending on the type of test. Some specialized tests may take a bit longer due to detailed analysis. You will receive your results securely via email or our online portal.
Are my test results confidential?
Yes, we take privacy seriously and ensure that all test results remain strictly confidential. Your results are stored securely and can only be accessed by you.
Do I need GP referral to get my blood test?
We welcome patients with and without GP referrals.
How accurate are my results?
Bioscan partners with some of the most prominent ISO 15189 INAB-certified labs in the country that conduct specialty testing. These labs perform regular quality assurance testing and are the same labs many doctors, GPs and HSE hospitals use to perform their testing.
Do I need to stop taking my supplements or medications before the test?
No, you should not discontinue any of your current medications or supplements. Instead make sure to include your medication and supplement history in any questionnaires that may be included at Bioscan Clinic. If you have questions about a specific medication, please email info@bioscan.ie
